24 hours later

Anniemay is sitting on the balcony of Dan and Varnica’s new house.

It’s been quite a 24 hours. The journey to the airport took longer than expected. The M25 was awash with water, so congestion and delays.

We boarded the plane on time but then sat there for 2 hours while a team of engineers tried to sort out a ‘particular issue’.

We tried to sleep on the plane but without much success. We eventually arrived at D&V’s house exactly 24 hours after leaving home.
