You've already got 5 dogs and an 6 is REALLY too many
or
Youve got an oldie heading for 16 and he needs quite a bit of care and doesnt need a puppy in his face
or
our young un has finally gotten past the poos and wees on the carpet thing and do we really need that right now
or
I cant think of any reasonable objections
So we said yes.
