the clouds have come back

We are expecting "dreadful" weather over the next 2 days.Usually the weather we get warned about tends not to happen....we will see. A lovely clear day yesterday, but today it all came back. A friend and I decided to drive up onto Evans Pass. It is a pass that links Christchurch with Lyttleton Harbour- usually used by trucks instead of the tunnel. It has been closed since the earthquakes brought down a lot of rocks, but the blockages are all on the harbour side, so drove up to the top. We had a lovely view of the Port Hills with wispy cloud racing along.....thanks Jillian for a lovely morning.great to see you on the mend.
