A Super Summery Day

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I had a nice day today.

The deployment was over and I took it easy. I took a 2 hour break with Caro so she could take me to get a blood and wee test. 

I do not recall having quite so many blood or wee tests in the UK. Doctors here are always wanting your blood or your wee. Stools, not so much. I wasn't sure whether to bring one along in a bag just in case though.

Better safe than sorry. 

Blood tests here are not done at the doctor's surgery. They have separate facilities that just drain you of blood and take your wee and then send the results to the doc. Plus, you just wander in any old time you like with your doc's note. 

When we wandered in, it was RAMMED. We had to wait about 20 minutes but finally I was DRAINED and we were on our way. Caro took us for a drive, and it was a lovely summery day and we had larfs. 

Eventually I returned to work but the sun continued to shine down. And in my head, I stopped working. Don't tell anyone.
