Ugly or beautiful?

Depending on your outlook this could be seen as repulsive or beautiful. It is a growth on a peach leaf, possibly caused by a virus. It appears to be fleshy but is actually no thicker than the leaf. The leaf has been caused to grow in this contorted fashion by either insect damage or a virus of some sort.
