Daylily

My mother tends to refer to daylilies as outhouse lilies. She remembers them from back in the day...pre-indoor plumbing days. I am not sure if they were favored for their beautification properties or pleasant scent. This one is in my backyard. (And yes...we have indoor plumbing.)
