Tuesday Night Is Exercise Night

Tonight we had a joint exercise with Sea Life Surveys. Four "passengers" on the Sula Beag were actually lifeboat crew each with a different simulated casualty role to play and for the rest of the crew to sort out when we got there. Pictured is Tomo playing the role of an unconscious casualty receiving treatment from two of the crew. Once the situation was effectively stabilised (the point where we would be waiting for helicopter pic up) this part of the exercise was over.
Next up the Sula Beag simulated an engine failure so we came in and established a tow. Once underway and happy we stopped, ceased the tow and headed for home.
We got a lot out of tonight's exercise and the guys from Sea Life Surveys seemed to too.
