Tinto from the A702
Today we returned to our meeting spot at Gretna to pick up Mummy hazelh after her long weekend away in the Lake District with my not-so-little sister. In a complete contrast with Thursday, the weather was beautiful, and the views from the car window glorious (blipped).
Poor Mummy hazelh can barely remember her wee holiday, even with photos for prompts. I have spent much of the evening answering her repeated questions about her current location, the reason for her being here with us in Edinburgh, and the whereabouts of my two sisters. She even asked 'Where's Daddy?' once, but quickly realised that her question was ridiculous given that he died five years ago. I struggled to hold back my tears at this point. Here's hoping that she will soon be able to settle back in with us again.
We very much enjoyed tonight's University Challenge. What a contest between York and Birkbeck!
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike.
