Flower Dreams

A dry and fairly cool day-perfect for sanding the small back deck and steps to prep for staining. This is a chore that I do every two years because foot traffic and grit wears the stain down to the cedar in places, leaving dead, grey patches that have to be sanded off in order for the stain to take. Done, stained and all. I'm beat. It's more fun dealing with flowers and mulch than sanders and smelly oil stain.

Next-the even smaller side porch and the gutters and trim all around the house.
