Ho ho ho!

Waited up until 11.30pm then cancelled ambulance (which I hadn’t asked for), saying I’d go to doctor this morning. And that’s what I did. Steroids prescribed, sorted.

Before my appointment, a very kind friend took me to buy a Christmas tree, though having left it so late, had to go to three different places before we found anything decent. Had enough time to go on further and bought a Christmas wreath, a Poinsettia, and more Christmas treats. Back home, the friend who was keeping dad company helped me to lug the Christmas boxes out of the attic. Hopefully with all of the above the house will soon look a little Christmassy.

So mild this afternoon was able to get Dad out in the garden for an hour’s fresh air while I sawed off the tree bottom and gathered up very soggy leaves.
