Mono Monday shadows

This is our roof. We installed solar panels about 8 years ago, then the builder next door planted a row of (beautiful) trees which grew like topsy. We were pretty cross as he had consulted us and decided on a row of narrow shrubs about 2.5 to 3 metres tall. 

The neighbour understands they shouldn’t shade the solar panels and is having them cut back.  I took this when I went to visit this afternoon.

We need the eaves painted and have been waiting for a painter we got a quote from in March…

Made 2 cakes for the festive season. One has gone down in the middle and the other one hasn’t. Must be the type of tin they are in as the mixture is identical.
