Don't do this at home

The idea of climbing up a ladder leaning on a saguaro makes me shiver. This is Bill, my snowbird neighbor. Every year he manages to put those lights up without me seeing him do it.Finally, after 15 years, I caught him. I never knew he did this with the ladder. I took the picture through the kitchen window but then went outside to suggest that the bigger they are, the harder they fall. He laughed.  The cactus is about 30 ft/9 m tall.
