Oh Christmas Tree

First year in 51 with an artificial tree. No trudging through cold and damp tree farms and fastening it to the roof of the car. No watering daily (a plus). You can buy scent sticks to hang on the inner branches. Ridiculously pyramidal shape but it can stay up longer and once it’s up, you can forget about it. No needles dropping. Lights already attached with 8 (count them) variations of color and movement. It’ll be just fine. The mood is created.
