Back to Blip…yet again!

A very short Blip - back yet again after life has got in the way.

My health has been very poor and I have been incredibly busy with life’s every day challenges so sadly Blip took yet another unscheduled break. I have missed it so much and glad to be back!

I have been back to my GP surgery and a lot to update you on regarding my fibromyalgia fight and general stuff which I will do this coming week.

Good news - I have won my appeal with the incredible support of the SPSO (an Ombudsman who handles appeals) in respect of the washing machine, bed frame and mattress and two seater sofa.

It has been incredibly stressful time and my fibromyalgia and joint hypermobility syndrome have not enjoyed it. However, I feel this is a welcome boost and attempting to stay positive.

I haven’t given any thought to Christmas this year, I happily have no plans as of yet and no intention of making many at present.

I love Christmas (and I’m a festive season baby too!) but feel the need for a quiet one this year. My health needs that.

Due to the crowdfunding page I started and my successful appeal re the washing machine etc, I am now delighted and incredibly grateful to be in a position to divide the £50 donations raised between Fibromyalgia Action UK and Asthma and Lung UK. I will keep you updated!

On a similar note, as it is my birthday month, I started a Facebook birthday fundraiser in aid of The Amy Winehouse Foundation.

I know it’s an expensive time of year but any donations will be grateful received.

I will try and add the link tomorrow as it’s playing up tonight and it’s approaching midnight - been awake since 9am. Productive day and slightly lower pain day compared to recent weeks.
