Stealthy Stable

Second Sunday of Advent, and good to walk into church and see the stable Mike made at Padre Luís's request several years ago, still in use. Doubt whether anyone still knows it was a renegade Protestant who made it.

Our traditional Sunday: grapefruit and croissants, church, tintinhos at the Adega, nap, walk (absolutely beautiful one around the Vinhas lake), and Sem Fim, with a good crowd, including a new English couple, Mary and Anthony.

Gratefuls:
- a bit of sun to charge our batteries, and so warm we never lit the fire (though not sure how good that is, really)
- not being able to visit the ill today, which made the day much more relaxed 
- the absolute peace and stillness at the Vinhas Lake, and the beauty of sunlight streaking through the trees
