Sunday Dinner Out
A day of house bits and pieces.
One run to the tip, I expect there might be more in the days to come. This one had a couple of bigger items and included two items from Mark over the road.
This afternoon I started to put a case together for essential bed linen, towels and the like that we will take up to Saltburn on the first trip in two weeks time.
Then after the dogs had their tea and a quick walk round the block, we got ready to meet our friends Linda and Pete at The Kingfisher in Bedford.
A lovely few hours catching up. Their son gets married on the 27th December and they are in the ‘what have we forgotten to get arranged’ phase now.
Both families are getting together on Christmas Day at a rented house, and Linda has only just now been given the task of getting suitable decorations arranged (including a tree) in case there aren’t any already there.
As if the wedding itself at Tewinbury Farm is not already costing a small fortune!
My blip is one of the trees at The Kingfisher. As we arrived the fireplace looked fabulous with the tree to one side, but as we left there were people sitting in front, so I had to make do with a side shot.
