Will it fall tonight???

The title refers to my extra. I've been eyeing this tree for the past several months and it hasn't fallen (and when it does it will take out the power line) yet. We are just at the edge of a Nor'easter and the winds are supposed to be around 26 mph (down, luckily, from 33 mph) with higher gusts. Maybe it will be this tree's time.

Today is such a different day from the past week of a cold, sunny, winter wonderland. It's foggy, warm and drizzly. The fog did lend a nice atmosphere to the walk, though. I like how it looked like there was just a circular empty space that the road goes into.

Inland is looking at 3-4 inches of rain. We are 2-3. It could be an interesting night. We have lots of jugs of water ready and everything battened down in case of when a power outage happens. I plan on just staying in bed reading tomorrow.
