Handy

We made good use of our hotel's central location to pop in and out throughout the day (four times to be precise).

The weather was pretty dreich so we decided against a longer walk to Botantics and instead went shopping first thing - T got swimming googles & I got a thicker costume with short legs .

After lunch (a picnic in our room) we went to the Royal Conservatoire for a concert by students from the traditional music courses. It was exceptionally good- a mix of instruments and songs with a number of the students own compositions. 

After that back to hotel for coffee then back out again to go to Sharmanka - a 45 min show of clockwork theatre installations. Somewhat bizarre but interesting. I first came across it on Speak Gaelic of all things. 

Back to hotel and A came to meet before we headed for dinner - a very tasty Indian meal at the Madras Cafe. We then looked around the Winter Wonderland. Much better than last year but we weren't tempted onto rides.
