Neighbours Xmas Safari Supper

What a fantastic event, suggested and organised by neighbour Rob.  Tony went orienteering this morning and I stayed home to clean and prepare my food contribution for our Neighbourhood Xmas Safari.  At 2 o'clock we headed down to Brenda and David's for mulled wine and cheese 'n' biscuits, then it was to Emma's for vol au vents and breaded cheesy yummy things.  Next it was to ours, co-hosting with Jane for our go to cheese n carrot puffs and falafel bites and then on to Lizzie and Leo's for savoury spring rolls.  Georgia and Carl gave us yummy Christmas tree vol au vents and pigs in blankets and  then we switched to sweets at Caroline and Jonny's!  Goodness those rich, creamy brownies were delicious.  From there we walked up to Gill and John's for the best ginger cake I have ever tasted (thank you John!) and the evening finished at Rob and Jenny's, co hosting with Victoria, for melt in the mouth mini pavlovas and chocolate truffles, wow! Great company, lots of fine conversation, delicious food.   Let's do it all over again next year folks!
