Umbelliferae

Afraid I am not an expert on Umbelliferaes tending to call most of them cow parsley! I think this one actually is and therefore its real name is Anthriscus sylvestris . What ever it is , and regardless of how common it is , it is rather beautiful both when flowering and its seedheads are a photographers dream.

I took some wonderful photos of Birds Foot trefoil, Jacobs Ladder, red Clover and the masses of cotton grass there is this year, but there is something about the simplicity of this that made me chose this one. Hope you like it too.
