Handmade

There are lots of handmade decorations in our church and this was one of them on the table where we have coffee with friends before church.  And it's proper coffee too!  There are also little tree decorations with pom poms adorning them and streamers with handmade woolly pom poms.  All very Eco!  And also pretty :))

The fields beside the roads we have to travel on to get to and from church are very flooded and it's spilling onto the road in places.  One bit was as deep as I would have wanted to drive through.  There has been a lot of quite bad flooding near Eastergate where we lived before and roads have been closed.  After a lovely morning at church we got drenched getting back to the car and were glad to get home for our usual Sunday pizza lunch!  I shall probably cook a roast dinner tomorrow.
