fake Christmas

We have this tradition that if Chris is not around on the 25th December, we have Fake Christmas at a more convenient time.  Like today.

Chris and Rose will be coming in a few hours time to pull crackers, wear funny hats and tuck into a Christmas dinner.  While I keep an eye on the turkey in the oven, Anniemay is busy peeling brussel sprouts.  

Pigs are sitting patiently in their blankets, next to the chestnut stuffing and the roast potatoes, waiting their turn in the oven.

The great thing about Fake Christmas is that Anniemay and I usually get to  have another one on the actual day itself. Win Win.
