The Yin Yang Tree

Nature throws up many complementary opposites, but this tree on the corner of a quiet suburban road intrigues me. How did it grow with leaves of two such different colours?

Today was good. Much more energy. Everyone at work loved my carrot cakes. And TSM and I went for a nice walk after work this evening.
