Pickering Bookshop, North Yorkshire

I took this photo of the small independent bookshop. I called into the shop on my way back from Scotland. The shop owner and I chatted about my books, and he agreed he would put them towards a reading panel to decide whether they were suitable for his shop.

Yesterday, I received an email to say they have accepted Stone Angels and my collection of short stories, Days Pass Like a Shadow.
I’m delighted. Now I must hope that readers buy the books.
