Saturday: Town Owl Taphouse

We both felt pretty groggy after our overnight flight from Miami to London.  We got about three hours sleep but managed to keep going until bed-time.  From Heathrow, we picked up the Express to Paddington, where we then caught the train to Stroud where we are spending the weekend with Cousin J & S.

Much excitement as there is a new tap-house in Stroud.  Naturally it would have been rude not to go and pay our respects.  We had a couple of drinks and then went home for J’s excellent slow-braised ribs.

It’s lovely to see them both and to be back.  We’re even enjoying the cold.  I’m actually back for a work thing so it’s a lovely bonus to take a few days off and for K to join me.
