Scotland Tour - Day 1

Day one of the tour saw Mrs F and I heading North on the A9 to Perth then up through Stanley Mills and Blairgowrie to our first port of call at Braemar.

Stanley Mills was a very interesting place. Similar to New Lanark but much more hands on. As you can see the weather was lovely with nice blue skies.

Lunch at Blairgowrie set us up for the drive to the hotel in Braemar. After dinner we went out for a walk round the village and took a trip up to the duck pond. A much longer walk than we had expected.
