Waxwings in the sun

Thank you for the stars, hearts and lovely comments for yesterday's waxwing blip.  

The rain stopped and F and I went to look for waxwings again.  I was lucky that they stayed longer this time so I was able to get better photos.  There are more in extras.  

O and family came for tea and afterwards we went out in the wind and rain to watch the Illuminated Tractor Run pass through the village.

Eighty-one tractors (all lit up) drove round the villages in aid of a charity in memory of one of the Young Farmers Club members that had died aged 22 from a brain tumour.  I hope that they have raised lots of money for this worthwhile cause.
