Man on Roof

The big house has finally been sold and the new owners have moved in. It looks as if they are having some work done on the roof. With all the rain at the moment, that is bound to be a priority.

This morning I met up with pals Liz and Nancy for coffee and catch-up in Alfie's where, unfortunately, they have already stopped doing their 'morning deal' of coffee and cake for £5.95. Nancy indulged anyway and said the tipsy cake was delicious.

RIP  Ryan O'Neal - I drooled over him in his 'Peyton Place' days!
