Every year, when I pull this guy out from a Christmas box, I smile. He is so stylish, so laid back . . . so French. We bought him in Paris years ago when we were there during the Christmas season and he has sat on the edge of the settee every year ever since. Something to smile about on such a gloomy, wet and windy day. That there is not a single car in the car park on a Saturday says it all.
