Those roses....

....again!  The roses that first photographed on 17 November and used for yesterday's abstract are still going strong, at least photographically speaking.  They have lasted because our house is now so cold.
Today is Mr MC's birthday, an event somewhat marred by yesterday's news from his consultant plus the fact that he is no longer 21.  Never mind, I say, we are lucky to have got thus far, an age not enjoyed by everyone.
This evening daughter #2 plus fiancé and Stella-Rose dropped by with a gift. Afterwards be had a celebratory meal of chicken goujons, chips and baked beans.  I must explain, Violet loved the goujons until suddenly she didn't and we need to clear the freezer for Christmas and beyond!
