Newcastle

After breakfast we walked into the city centre, did some shopping had a late lunch then we picked up our cases from the hotel, because of the train strikes ( Yawn ) we knew we had to get the bus from Newcastle to Carlisle and knew it would be busy , our uber taxi was running late so we had to walk/run to the bus station and it started to rain , got to the bus station we were soaking , hot and bloody stressed if we had seen a train driver we would have punched them. 
Arrived in Carlisle, caught the bus back to Penrith cost us 4 pounds our journey back from Newcastle a bargain compared to the bloody expensive trains.
