The Intruder.
It's Poppy time again. Usually before the poppies can open the wind has reduced them to a twisted flattened heap and the rain has whipped them into a soggy mulch. This year it's been cold, yes, dull, yes. But not so wet and windy. And so we have the poppies to enjoy - along with other creatures it seems. Quite how this intrepid mobile home found it's way up the slender stem and over the tissue paper leaves I just don't know. But it did. If there is any precursor to opium in there maybe this is one smashed snail. I didn't have the heart to move it.
Off for a couple of days tomorrow to sunny (hopefully) Creiff. A little back-blipping required again as I will be out of computer contact. I must get one of those smart-phone thingies...
