Pohutukawa

Often referred of as New Zealand's Christmas Tree because of its flowering time. This one was ahead of itself a ted and is right outside out apartment building and was photographed from our deck on the 8th floor.
Wellington is getting a little "festive" and we are starting to see this around the harbour side with this bloke balanced on a ladder chucking fire around (extra).
We also had a walking tree wish me a Merry Christmas on the way home. 
It wasn't a Christmas tree just a regular one, that I had chatted to before so it was a familiar tree.....
NO, I hadn't been drinking....
