Early morning walk

I really dislike driving to work as I normally walk, whatever the weather. But I needed the car for after work, so I went for a walk in the park before sitting at my desk. This photo is beautiful. I could stare and stare at it.

A full day at work and then scuttled away to do another chilly lake swim. The water is still 4.5 degrees and it was lovely to swim with EmCoops today - even though we’re not actually swimming for long.

Home - normal stuff - and a power cut. Power was down over a huge area but candles did the job. I might add an extra - power cut blips remind me of my big kids who blipped briefly for a while. In fact, HatBox’s last blip was of candles during a power cut :-)

And Mabel is 5 today - in dog years, she’s very definitely middle aged. :-)
