All in a row

The path looks fine in this photo, taken on a dog walk at about 11am, but when I tried to run this morning, it was so icy I was slipping and sliding so I turned back and went home.

My friend Anna came over for lunch and she helped me fix the tree in its stand. I had lugged the tree in already but I just couldn’t secure it without a second pair of hands.

I got a run in eventually and later popped up the road to see Dot.T and WelshMans new flat. They’re loving having their own space at last. It’s cute watching them work out what goes where.

I dressed the tree really late - it looks pretty but I’m just not convinced it’s steady.
