Living Geography

Unplanned

Well, this turned into a bit of a day. My wife was on the way to Hunstanton when her car broke down and had to be relayed home. Which meant I had to drive to Norwich first to collect my daughter in freezing fog, and then home before taking her to King's Lynn for a hair appointment which takes over three hours. This was partly passed by visiting King's Lynn's Museum - free entry in the winter months. Not visited for some years and there is plenty of interest including the Seahenge timbers. There was also an exhibition of original drawings by Judith Kerr for her classic children's book. Home for tea and then over to the coastal village of Snettisham for the 50th birthday party of a friend we knew when we lived there and have known for years. We first lived there 25 years ago, so that's half her life we have known her. A lovely night, and home rather late.
