Itchen Valley

Today's wander was south through Winchester and down the Itchen Way to Shawford. The footpath is next to the old Itchen Navigation and this stream is an overflow from the Navigation towards the river.

After a pub lunch we were going to get the hourly train back to Winchester, but it was cancelled. Fortunately there was a good bus service nearby.
