Christmas Play

Today we went to see our grandson in his Christmas School Play. A good title “ a Big Story for Little Voices”. There were children in each age group from nursery up to Year 2, about 100 in all I think. They had very good costumes and sang really well. The narrators were very good and all the usual main characters. Our grandson was a shepherd and he clearly didn’t like his head dress as he was playing with it quite a bit! He said afterwards that  it felt itchy …I think maybe it was a new stiff tea towel! 
The school is nearly 40 miles away and although it took about I hr 5 minutes to get there on the way back with Friday rush hour traffic it was about two hours! 

Feeling very tired as we have had a hectic week so looking forward to a quieter weekend.

Christmas cards are nearly done so all will be posted tomorrow. 
My husbands passport has come back very quickly, plus his old passport too. He kept getting texts with updates on its progress etc. very efficient so I was surprised as during the summer I think there was a backlog and many complaints in the press.
