Vital Sparks

Trying to stay calm and….

…. get things done.

Lots of decisions about what bits of technology to keep and what to discard. Broken cameras, CD Players, iPods and early iPad.

This old (hardly used in recent years) seems worth keeping along with a not used this year Fire TV stick from Amazon. My free Spotify account has let me play the whole of Bruckner’s 5th symphony without an Ad!
Though just about everything else on this combo like iPlayer, UKTVPlay often fail first time then work OK ?   ITVx is the only app that visibly buffers. Amazon Prime seems to work seamlessly and I watched Everton v Newcastle last. Night once I found the option for no commentary and stadium sound only - I was in the kitchen when Everton got their first goal and I didn’t need a commentator to say Goal!

I continue to be just a little unwell week after week, lots of sinus congestion, a little asthma but no high temperature. I am sure this is aggravated by all the cleaning and moving of old books and furniture that we are doing and possibly triggered by new carpets and vacuuming up the dust of the ages e.g. the 1980s underlay that has just become green dust found when the old carpets were lifted.

I have just been to the CO-OP for a few essentials and bought the Big Issue,  £4.50 now so I hand over a £5 and say keep the change.

This week I sent all the charities I support some money but I find it hard to decide what to do.

I have created my annual calendar but seem to have fewer options and I have to admit I didn’t take as much care perhaps enough is enough.

I called in at my local Ford garage where I bought my car now 7 years ago  to arrange for some new tyres to be fitted next week, I spoke to the now manager who was the salesman when I bought the car.  Things don’t look good for them except with Used Cars. More people like me are NOT moving to even more expensive modern cars and it was obvious that he is concerned

Trying to stay calm.
