Elf-spadition!
I had a sight test this morning and unsurprisingly in four years my prescription has changed and I have decided I will give varifocals another go. I had my driving glasses which have barely been used since I got them at the start of 2020. Can you believe it costs £70 to have them reglazed and cheaper to buy new frames? Surely in a world where we should be doing our best to reduce waste it should be cheaper? And if frames are one price, lenses another where is this cost in glasses? The frame or the lens?
Anyway thanks to my Blue Light card it was 40% cheaper than full price. They are due in the day we go to Bluestone so I'm hoping they will arrive a little bit earlier than that.
Elf and Safety climbed into my bag this morning as they said they haven't been to The Mall before. They were well behaved but very disappointed not to see Santa. They were somewhat overwhelmed by the giant Elf, and declared that he makes Beau seem less scary!
