December 8th

Traditionally in Ireland December 8th was a holy day and a day when the rural people came to town to do shopping. It's still marked here in Clon and many other Irish towns with 10% off everything in shops. Many older country faces were in evidence this morning, shopping or just catching up with people. Had a few chats myself.
