Tree completed!

I spend several hours sorting out the tree today. G put it up last night, but I now need to bush out the branches. We always have this large artificial tree in our front room window, then have a real tree in the conservatory - but that will need to wait a while. 

Then it’s a case of decorating, unpacking the baubles we have gathered over our 45 Christmases together. I love this, many items having special memories of when we bought - or made - them. Sadly, this year there are a couple of casualties as I drop delicate glass ornaments on the floor and they shatter into shards of glitter. 

Still, I’m happy with the finished tree; it’s beginning to feel decidedly seasonal!
