The Getty Museum

Last full day in the USA and we took a ‘quick detour’ (about 3 hours) to The Getty Museum. It was an impressive building and I need to learn more, he had so much art, did he choose it himself or give a buyer free rein, was he a goodie or a baddie or just enormously rich? The gardens were also lovely and my favourite flower is the Brazil’s White Angel’s Trumpet. We ended the day with sunset at Griffith Observatory and a couple of planetarium shows with an excellent live commentary before headin to the Library Alehouse again for food and tasty beer.
