Counting the days

We received our first Christmas present last week with the instruction to open it on the first of December. Sounds like some kind of an advent calendar, thought I. And yes, I was right, and what a super one it is! One sachet of different coffee beans for each day of advent. A great gift that Nick (the barista,) and I will both enjoy.

It has been a very grey day making it so dark in the house that we needed lights on all day in order to see what we were doing. I spent much of the day getting our Christmas cards ready for posting but the job isn’t complete yet.
