Dark and wet

Busy working day, but I managed to finish reading all 115 grant applications before a panel meeting tomorrow morning. I usually only work a half day on Friday - suspect that I won’t be finishing on time. I’ll make sure the person chairing the panel is fully caffeinated before starting the teams call!

Popped up to see J on the ward after tea. He was the quiet but responsive (though not saying much). The nurse did give me a mask to wear as several other patients and staff have COVID.
