We had a long walk in the park earlier while Freya slept and Bramble enjoyed a sniff fest. I found some day nurse medicine in the cupboard, not something I have ever used and have taken it throughout the day. It certainly helps to relieve the cold symptoms. I also bought some Vicks vaporub so will be using that tonight. We have my neice and partner coming for the weekend so I’m really hoping to have a bit more energy.
I’ve made mushroom soup for tomorrow and am half way through making a batch of flapjacks then it will be time for bed . My favourite place at the moment, due in part to the new woollen fleece under blanket , I can’t find the words to describe the delight of lying on a woollen fleece , it creates a very special kind of warmth . It has improved the quality of our sleep . A Christmas gift from our Swedish family .
