Nutcracker

A day off work today fitting in a day I had left before the end of the year .
Not the best of weather  warmer but very damp and grey. This morning I took Julie to the care home to visit her Mum who has very bad dementia so doesn't know who anyone is , It is the 1st time in many months she has been able to visit as she was very busy looking after her Dad .
The visit went well and I went for a little drive and walk before picking her back up didn't go for much of a walk due to the weather .
After picking her up a trip to Pets at home to pick up a new cat tree for Minstrel  to replace his old one , I had seen a nice one in the sale  when we got there they only had one left which was the display one they offered me a further 10%  off bargain as it saved me the job of building it.

After dropping it off  at home we then headed into town to go for our annual pre Christmas treat of food and drink , we went to the Botanist where we enjoyed some lovely food and drink a little pricey and they even included the service charge in the bill a little cheeky really . Afterwards we then went to the Tipi Bar to enjoy a couple more drinks sat beside the firepit see extra before heading back home in the wind and rain .My blip shows a Nutcracker in the entrance to the pub one of many on display around the city 
Back indoors now and no plans to go out , so time to just relax with some general TV and some sport including a stream of one of the premier league matches  tonight
