Not as planned

It all went 'Pete Tong' today.  Started off at MIL house trying to catch the cat.  We have got a space at the local Cat's Protection league who will try to re-home him.  However I think he got wind of the fact and despite trying to entice him into the conservatory he was not having it and ran off!  OH drove to CPL and collected a 'trap' to try and entice him with food and make it easier.  He got lost and 20 minute trip took over an hour!

No.1 and I pottered (she had a nice hot bath) and her plans for a trip to London to meet JC were changed when he rang and said he would be working late!!  OH was meeting friends in London for dinner and they were going to go up on the train together but I ended up taking him to the station and getting stuck in traaaafic (round trip - 1 Hour).  Oh well - that's life.  Dinner cooking and a glass of wine poured.  Tomorrow is another day.

The picture today is one I cropped for Instagram page - I haven't sent cards for a few years and prefer to make a charitable donation instead - this year to the Brain Tumour research charity.
