Kestrel at the park..

Went for a local wander this morning, on a grey day, to take a photo of another postbox topper! But got slightly distracted by the sighting of this lovely kestrel in the park!  He was surveying the little creek to see if he could find anything for breakfast!

Also stopped at the creek where there were a few birds out and about - teal, curlew, oystercatchers, godwit, lapwing, grebe, gulls and redshank - so it was a worthwhile walk this morning! Will have to go back for the postbox topper another day!
