Foggy morning

Thick fog this morning and a frost on the ground.  At mid-morning the sun was out and it remained bright until after lunch when it clouded over and there was a great heaviness in the sky.  Tomorrow we have an amber weather alert for our area.  Rain and wind.  The Waterloo Exeter train line is closed at Basingstoke and there has been a mud fall from an embankment just outside Crewkerne with earth and debris all over the railway, they hope to clear it by Monday but I think this is doubtful with the forecast! 

I decided to go to the supermarket this afternoon so I wouldn't have to brave the weather and floods tomorrow.
